Hannover, Nov 12th 2023 - In a historic breakthrough for the agricultural technology (agritech) sector, an innovation to redefine organic farming was unveiled to the world at AgriTechnica. This pioneering development, a fully autonomous implement capable of detecting weeds in-row, even in high-density crops, and instantly removing them mechanically, marks a major leap forward in the quest for sustainable, chemical-free weeding solutions in organic farming.

Odd.Bot, de innovatieve start-up die zich richt op het ontwikkelen van robots voor het
verwijderen van onkruid, heeft een aanvullende financiering van 2,6 miljoen euro
ontvangen vanuit Europa middels de EIC Accelerator.
Deze investering zal worden gebruikt om het 3e prototype, de 'Weed Whacko'-robot,
versneld naar de markt te brengen. Deze unieke robot maakt gebruik van geavanceerde sensoren en AI-technologie om onkruid op een efficiënte en milieuvriendelijke manier te verwijderen, zonder het gebruik van chemische middelen.
